When the awning is open the lead bar is higher than the case box which doesn’t hinder the opening and closing of the side door of the vehicle. Not suitable for vehicles with pop roofs including Volkswagon California

If the vehicle is equipped with a C rail it must be removed to allow the adaptor bracket to be installed using the set points on the vehicle, no drilling required.
